CHROME GIII ®
1.1 INTRODUCTION:
GIII is a hybrid sulphate/chloride trivalent chromium plating process and provides chromium deposits suitable for decorative and functional pruposes.
It has been designed to plate cristalline and bright chrome deposits on nickel layers at high rate of deposition.
2.1 REFERENCE STANDARDS:
- ASTM B456 – Standard Specification for Electrodeposited Coatings
- UNI EN ISO 1456:2009 – European Standard Specification for Electrodeposited Coatings
- ASTM B117 – Stalt spray test
- UNI EN ISO 9227:2017 – European standard for salt spray test
- UNI EN 248:2004 – General specification for electrodeposited coatings of Ni-Cr on sanitary tapware
- REACH 1907/2006
- ROHS2 2011/65/EU
- ROHS3 2015/863/EU
3.1 MAIN FEATURES:
GIII® process obtain crystalline bright deposits, with the same characteristics of the hexavalent systems and enhanced performance on the deposit distribution.
Free of hexavalent chrome and do not require particular activations of the nickel layer.
Quick formation of deposit, faster then hexavalent system and up to 1 µm/min
